A well-designed City (2022/23)

Consultation has concluded and your feedback is currently being reviewed.

We want to create a well-designed city for our community, residents, businesses and visitors.

To inform our well designed city we want feedback on specific projects such as our Events Strategy, Tourism Plan, e-scooter trial and CCTV Strategy.

We’re seeking input to update Council's key strategic documents including our Corporate Strategic Plan to articulate our key directions for the next 10 years, Sustainability Action Plan, to community to improve environmental sustainability, and our Emergency Management to help us to plan for emergency management.

We’re also planning to share some of the data we use to inform our own strategies and would like to know what types of data people would be most interested in accessing and how!

What happens with my feedback?

Your feedback will:

Inform the 2024-34 Corporate Strategic Plan which articulates Councils key directions for the next 10 years
Identify the priorities and how Council can support to deliver community benefits through the Sustainability Action Plan
Inform how Council can respond to any identified gaps in the way we plan for emergencies

Inform our Tourism Plan with your ideas on what tourism opportunities Council should seek funding for
Help us to update our Events Strategy to guide how we identify, attract and support community and major events
Help Council improve hiring and riding e-scooters
Help us understand how and in what ways we can share our open data
Help us to update our CCTV Strategy and Policy.
