Adopted Four-Year Delivery Plan, Annual Plan and Budget.
The City of Launceston's Four-Year Delivery Plan 2026/27–2029/30, together with the Annual Plan and Budget 2026/27, was adopted by the elected members on 18 June 2026, following endorsement by the Executive Leadership Team.
Prior to adoption, the draft documents were released for public consultation, providing the community with an opportunity to review the proposed plans and budget and share their feedback. Submissions received during the consultation period were collated and presented to Council on 21 May 2026 for consideration before the final plans were adopted.
The Four-Year Delivery Plan outlines the priority strategic initiatives and key service actions that Council will deliver over the next four financial years. It is the first Delivery Plan developed under the Shaping Futures: Strategic Plan 2025–2035, which came into effect in June 2025.
The Annual Plan 2026/27, informed by the priorities and actions identified in the Four-Year Delivery Plan, details the key service delivery and strategic projects to be undertaken during the financial year.
The Budget 2026/27 forms part of the Annual Plan and includes Council's statutory estimates, major operational projects and capital works program, providing a comprehensive overview of planned investment and expenditure for the year ahead.

The draft Annual Plan 2026/27 set out the actions proposed for the financial year ahead in line with the Four-Year Delivery Plan.
The proposed Budget 2026/27 outlined the estimated income and expenditure for the financial year and was designed to guide Council's spending and investment decisions based on projected revenue.
We invited the community to review these documents and provide feedback on the priorities, projects and services that matter most to them. Community consultation was open until 5pm on Sunday 26 April 2026.
Community members were able to:

- Review the proposed Budget, including Capital and Operational Projects, and provide feedback.
To support participation, copies of the documents were made available for viewing at the Town Hall Customer Service Centre, 18–28 St John Street, Launceston, during business hours.
We also held a community drop-in session on Tuesday 14 April 2026, from 9.00am to 12.00pm, at the Town Hall Customer Service Centre, where community members could ask questions and discuss the documents with Council staff in person.
Feedback received during the consultation period was collated, reviewed and presented to Council on Thursday 21 May 2026 for consideration. Community input helped inform Council's decision-making and finalisation of the Four-Year Delivery Plan, Annual Plan and Budget.
