Significant progress has been made on this project, which aims to upgrade infrastructure and improve safety.

The installation of new kerb and channel in zone 3 along Invermay Road is now complete.

Starting this Sunday 23 February 2025, work will commence in Zone 1 at the intersection of Invermay Road and Lindsay Street. These works will take place overnight from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am through to the end of the project. Some day works may be scheduled.

Upcoming works include:

Realigning and installing new kerb and channel

Installing new access ramps and traffic islands

Removing the roundabout, milling the roadway and constructing a raised intersection

Placing the new asphalt road seal

Improving stormwater drainage at the intersection

Installation of traffic lights

Street lighting upgrade.

The intersection will remain open to traffic, with the assistance of stop/slow traffic control as required. Please allow for moderate traffic delays during night working hours.

Please be aware that these works may result in increased noise, vibration and lighting. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these important upgrades.
