Zone 2 works at the intersection of Boland Street and Tamar Street are on hold as components for the pedestrian access ramps are manufactured.

Zone 3 (see Figure 1) kerb and channel works will begin on Tuesday 28 January 2025 and will be conducted as day works from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

As the first stage of the zone 3 road reconstruction, we will remove the existing kerb and channel and install the new kerb and channel.

Crossroads will communicate directly with affected properties when driveway access is temporarily unavailable. These interruptions are expected to last no more than one hour at a time. Once the existing kerb and channel is removed, steel plates will be placed over driveways to ensure continued access before the new kerb is installed. Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to take up to two weeks to complete.

During zone 3 works, the left-hand southbound lane will be closed, with traffic merging into the right-hand lane.

Over the next few weeks, Crossroads will be working across both zones 2 and 3. Later, they will return to zone 3 to complete the road pavement reconstruction as night works.

Throughout the project there will be changing traffic conditions to allow the works to be completed safely and efficiently. Please allow for potential moderate traffic delays, localised detours and extra time to travel.

A reminder to take care while moving through work zones and follow traffic management to ensure your safety but also the safety of contractors.

Depending on weather and site conditions, the timing of these works may change.
