With the nearby rail trail expected to expand, the Reserve is likely to see more visitors, particularly cyclists and day-trippers. Planning ahead is essential to ensure the Reserve continues to be a welcoming and special place for everyone.

While no funding has currently been allocated for upgrades, the feedback received will play an important role in shaping future planning and supporting any future funding proposals.

The next phase of the project will focus on a detailed review of the feedback and the exploration of potential options for the Reserve’s future, which will inform the development of a Master Plan for Lilydale Falls Reserve.
