WHERE IT BEGAN:
This stage focuses on the following two key streets:
- Paterson Street (between Charles and George Streets)
- St John Street (between Paterson and York Streets)
These streets link a range of important public spaces including Civic Square and the Quadrant Mall, as well as retail and dining precincts like Charles and George Streets and the Brisbane Street Mall.
In our most recent consultation process you told us you wanted the Launceston CBD to be more vibrant, accessible and pedestrian friendly - and include contemporary public infrastructure like street furniture, dynamic lighting, more greenery and improved connectivity.
We want to see these streets designed with the aim to include all of these things!
How you can get involved:
- Complete the quick 3 question survey then;
- Use the interactive map to place design element pins.
You're also welcome to come along to one of the 5 pop-up sessions and have a chat with members of our Place Making team.
Complete the survey and the interactive map and you will automatically go into the draw to win family passes to Launceston Aquatic.
