Thank you to everyone who took the time to share feedback during the recent community engagement on the future of Lilydale Falls Reserve. Community input is vital in helping shape a reserve that continues to meet the needs and expectations of both current users and future generations.

The four-week engagement period, held in October 2025, invited residents, visitors and stakeholders to have their say on how the Reserve is currently used, the community’s perception of existing facilities, prioritisation of improvements and the level of support for potential changes. We received a strong level of interest and valuable insights from the community, highlighting the importance of the Reserve as a much-loved natural and recreational space.

We’re pleased to now share a summary of the feedback received, highlighting the key priorities and ideas raised during the engagement. These findings will help guide future planning and decision-making for Lilydale Falls Reserve, ensuring any proposed changes reflect the values and aspirations of the community.

The next stage of the project will involve reviewing the feedback in detail and exploring options for the Reserve’s future, which will inform the development of a Master Plan for Lilydale Falls Reserve.
