Let's cleverly plan for new residential and business development while preserving our character and liveability.
The way we design and build our city impacts the look, feel and vibrancy of our city. Launceston is looking to grow. We need good design to make sure that we preserve what makes Launceston special, while inviting more people and investment.
A well-designed and built city is one that provides affordable housing, and ensures everyone has local access to the goods and services, education, transport and jobs they need. It has neighbourhood character that we’re proud of. It’s designed and built to last. Help us shape the future of our city by:
- Taking the Well-designed City Survey (now closed)
- Then tell us about your Launceston by selecting pins and dragging them onto the map to show us:
- The places you love
- How you think growth will impact our city
- And the ideas you have to activate our public spaces across Launceston.
